ASELSAN Malaysia is ready for local production in Malaysia

ASELSAN continues deliveries of 30mm Remote Controlled Stabilized Naval Gun (SMASH) to Malaysian Coast Guard as the main armament of New Generation Patrol Crafts and the performance of 30mm SMASH is appreciated by the end users.
As per the commitment of ASELSAN on technology and know-how transfer to Malaysia, 30mm SMASH System assembly, integration and tests are accomplished locally by Malaysian Engineers after a comprehensive training program. In November 2017, Malaysian Coast Guard and Royal Malaysian Navy officers witnessed the progress in 30mm SMASH test&integration facility in Lumut, Perak, Malaysia.
ASELSAN MALAYSIA SDN. BHD., which is %100 owned by ASELSAN, established in 2017 with the purpose of local production of Remote Controlled Stabilized Weapon Systems and act as a regional hub for sales, after-sales and R&D activities. In this context, the local 30mm SMASH System assembly, integration and tests are the first steps of ASELSAN MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. and the company targets to make further investment in Malaysia for the serial production and R&D.
