India cancels defence deal with Israel

India has officially canceled a $500m defence deal with Rafael to purchase Spike anti-tank guided missiles before Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to visit India.
Rafael Advance Defence Systems Ltd. did not give a reason for the cancellation of the deal.
The Indian Defense Ministry announced that it approved a $70m deal to buy 131 surface-to-air Barak missiles from Rafael for the country’s first aircraft carrier.
Spike in use by 26 countries around the world. Rafael has four missiles in the Spike family, Spike NLOS, Spike ER, Spike MR/LR and Spike SR.
