Derco and Arkwin sign deal

Lockheed Martin’s subsidiary Derco has signed a contract to serve as the exclusive repair centre for all C-130 and F-16 aircraft components manufactured by US-based company Arkwin Industries.

The agreement intends to minimise the turnaround times on Arkwin component repairs.

The work will be based out of Derco’s 80,000 sq ft FAA certified repair centre, which currently supports commercial and military platforms.

Arkwin will train Derco technicians on component repairs in aims to ensure compliance with original equipment manufacturer quality standards.
