FTC-2000G multirole aircraft Rolls Off Production Line

China’s Guizhou Aviation Industries Corporation (GAIC) has begun production of its new export-oriented FTC-2000G lightweight multirole combat aircraft.
The platform is being manufactured in the city of Anshun in China’s southern Guizhou Province. Aircraft is expected to conduct its maiden flight by the end of September.
The FTC-2000G is a variant of the FTC-2000 Shanying with improved multi-role capabilities. The model can have up to seven hardpoints and a maximum payload weight of 3,000 kg. According to technical data, it features a heavier normal takeoff weight (8,000 kg) but now has a shorter range (1,650km) and endurance time 2h).
The multi-functional military aircraft is fit for attacking, fighting and training. It could also be used for reconnaissance purpose or even adapted to a reconnaissance plane.
