The Russian Admiral Makarov frigate wraps up Cyprus port of call visit

The Admiral Makarov frigate, Russian navy’s Black Sea Fleet, completed its port of call visit to the Cyprus port of Limassol.
“The Black Sea Fleet’s frigate Admiral Makarov, which is on a mission as part of a permanent task force of the Russian Navy in a far maritime zone, completed its port of call visit to the Limassol port in the Republic of Cyprus. The Black Sea Fleet’s ship replenished its essential reserves, and the crew went on R&R visiting historic sites in the city,” the statement said.
Admiral Makarov is a third frigate of the Admiral Grigorovich class of the Russian Navy to be based with the Black Sea Fleet at Sevastopol.
The Black Sea Fleet frigate Admiral Makarov performs tasks as part of the permanent grouping of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean since November 2018.
