- March 7, 2019
Bayraktar TB2, Turkey’s domestically-produced, will start the test flights in Ukraine.
“Soon there will be a test of powerful unmanned aerial complex Bayraktar, on the supply of which I managed to negotiate with Turkish President Recep [Tayyip] Erdogan. I can even say that these complexes are already in Ukraine,” President Petro Poroshenko said.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who had an official visit to Istanbul in November last year, visited Baykar Makine R&D and production facilities with his delegation. Poroshenko announced that it signed an agreement with Turkey to purchase Bayraktar TB2 in January.
Within the scope of the agreement between Ukrspetsexport and Baykar Makina, six Bayraktar TB2 (S / UAV) Platforms, three Ground Control Station systems and equipment will be delivered within a year.
